These terms are the agreement between you and Wanda's Meal Plan, a service run from the Netherlands. By creating an account, you accept them.

Who can use Wanda

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself.

Plans and Plus

  • The Free plan costs nothing.
  • If you signed up during our founding offer, Plus is free for a year from the day you signed up. Then your account moves to the Free plan.
  • We take no card for the free year, and we never charge you unless you choose to pay.
  • Paid plans aren't on sale yet. When they are, we show the price and terms before you buy.
  • Fair-use limits apply, such as how many recipes you can import. The app shows them.

Your recipes

  • Recipes you import stay yours, as far as they were yours to begin with.
  • You let us store, process and show them to you and your household, only to run Wanda.
  • Your imported recipes are private to your household. We never publish them.
  • Import recipes for your own cooking. Don't use Wanda to copy or publish other people's recipes.
  • Ask us for a copy of your recipes at any time.

Your ideas

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.

Fair use

Please don't:

  • scrape, crawl or use Wanda with bots or scripts;
  • try to break, overload or get around its limits or security;
  • open more than one Free account to get around its limits;
  • add anything illegal, or anything you have no right to share;
  • use Wanda to harm other people.

We may limit or close an account that breaks these rules. We tell you why, and you can reply.

Food, health and allergies

  • Wanda helps you plan meals. It is not medical or nutrition advice.
  • Allergy filtering helps, but it can't be perfect. Always check labels and ingredients yourself.
  • For a medical diet, ask a doctor or dietitian.

How Wanda uses AI

Wanda uses AI models to read the recipes you import. They tag each recipe, for example its cuisine and timings, and match ingredient names to our list. Our Privacy page names the companies that run them. AI output can be wrong, so imported recipes say so. Check them against the original.

AI never decides what is safe for you to eat:

  • Whether a recipe fits a diet or allergy comes from our own ingredient list, which people check.
  • For an allergy, the planner leaves out any recipe with an ingredient it couldn't check.
  • When AI suggests a dinner or a change to a recipe, our own checks test the result against your diet and allergies. A suggestion that fails them never reaches your plan.

We test changes to our AI steps against real recipes before they ship. We log every AI call that fails and review the failures.

Keeping Wanda running

  • We work to keep Wanda available, but we can't promise it never fails.
  • We may change or remove features.
  • If we close Wanda, we give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get your recipes.

Liability

  • We are liable for damage we cause on purpose or through gross negligence.
  • For other damage, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before your claim, or €50 if that is more.
  • These limits don't apply to death or injury caused by our negligence, or where the law doesn't allow them.
  • Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer.

Ending your account

You can stop using Wanda at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms. We tell you why, and you can reply.

Under the EU Digital Services Act, our single point of contact for users and authorities is [email protected], in English or Dutch.

To report content that is illegal or infringes your rights, see our Takedown page. When we remove or limit something you added, we tell you what we did, why, and how to reply.

Law and disputes

Dutch law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live. You can take a dispute to the courts of the Netherlands or of where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for a valid reason, such as a change in the law, a new feature, or to keep Wanda secure. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that matters. If you don't agree, you can stop using Wanda and delete your account.

Smaller changes, such as clearer wording, take effect when we post them, with a new date at the top.
